Lifx color bulb, change color over time not working

I have two Lifx color bulbs that work well. I'm using the built in driver, hub software is current at 2.3.0.121. I can not get them to change color temperature over time. I have tried with various periods and intervals, color pre-staging enabled and disabled. Setting the color temperature at a certain time works. This is the error message.

Which app is this? .. It appears the error is coming from the app

Rule Machine. 5.1 Set temperature works. Change over time does not. Pre-staging on the bulb makes no difference.
