So I have a LG C1 tv we just purchased, looks great in our home theater, but I want to automate it a bit.
My idea is to use voice commands to have the following happen:
- Turn on the TV
- Select the FUBO tv app
- Turn on my home theater lights (area 1 and 2, already done with Rule Machine)
- Turn on my Govee light setup behind the TV (already done that integration, it works slick)
I can connect my TV to Google Home, but I am not sure if there is any real benefit to doing that if it cant control the TV functions itself.
I had a harmony remote but got rid of it since it is phased out, and we didn't really use it enough to justify it.
Anyone tried anything like this?
