Leviton ZW15S detected as incorrect device

I just installed a Leviton ZW15S Z-Wave Plus switch on a C7 hub. I installed the device twice (with a device removal/exclusion between installs). The first install was done via Add Smart Devices and the second install was done via Add Z-Wave device/Start Z-Wave inclusion.

Just as @jtp10181 reported here ( Incorrect driver selection platform 2.3.9 - :loudspeaker: Feedback - Hubitat), the switch was detected both times as a Zooz Remote Switch Zen34. Thinking I had misconfigured my hub somehow, I performed a soft reset.

I installed the switch again via Add Smart Devices and this time it was detected as an Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7 Series.

All three times, for the switch to have on/off functionality (via the hub) I changed the driver to Generic Z-Wave Plus Switch; however, the device is reported incorrectly in the Logs (as the Zooz Remote Switch Zen34 prior to the soft reset and as the Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7 Series afterwards).

Is there a way to have the Leviton ZW15S detected and reported correctly? I will provide more information as need. Please be aware I am new to Hubitat and may need direction to provide more advanced information.

The old logs will roll off and you'll be left with the current name at some point.

Nothing to do with the logs, but since you tried 3 times to install the switch, I would suggest you check the Z-Wave Details to make sure you do not have any ghosts. You did mention that you did a device removal/exclusion but I would check just to make sure.

The logs just uses the first name it sees in the history.
Change the driver to the proper one and then rename the device to whatever you want.
Then run the Configure command on the correct driver.

It's a anomaly with that switch. The driver is what matters which you solved with generic z-wave plus switch. What you can do additionally is to edit the device name field to Leviton ZW15S or that the box states the model is. Then fill in the device label field to what you want its name to display as.
