Lellki 5-socket Plug-bar MATTER Problem

Hi
I thought I'd ordered a Lellki 5-Socket Zigbee plugbar from AliExpress only to find their order process was misleading (at best) and I got a Matter one.
OK, so I've struggled to get it connected to Alexa ok and can control all the sockets (3 AC, 2 USB) using the Alexa app.
I have paired with Hubitat as a 3rd party device, and that seemed to work. A bit challenging until I figured out where the child devices were.
Now the issue....
If I turn on the parent of the 5 sockets, the first plug turns on/off. If i go to each of the child devices, they are not controllable, and do NOT reflect current status as shown on Alexa and observed with active plugged in devices (or LEDs).
The parent is configured as a "Generic Matter Outlet" in Hubitat and the children as a "Generic Component Switch".
On Alex, the plug-bar parent and children all came was configured as a "Uascent smart device".
My suspicion is that Hubitat is not yet supporting component child devices, but I do not know.
Can anyone help me understand how to get this to work, or whether it is time to return it?
Thanks Don

Hubitat does support child devices, but the drivers have to be written to do it.

You probably need a properly written driver that can leverage multiple endpoints for outlets. I think the Matter driver that Hubitat has is strictly a single endpoint outlet device.

Have you tried any of the Matter bridge drivers the community has out there. I think @kkossev has a driver that has worked some magic in similar conditions like this.

The HE inbuilt 'Generic Matter Multi-Endpoint Switch' should be working ..

Ah, that works super.
I had tried it earlier but must have had something else misconfigured, but now it is working aok.
Thank you for the great insights!
