Legacy Dashboard Intermittently Not Loading?

I've been using the same legacy dashboards for several years, running on C-5 and now C-7 hardware. I have a couple of Fire HD tablets that show these dashboards using the Wallpanel app, and are reloaded about once every 15 minutes. Sometime after version 2.4.1-157 I started seeing the reloads get stuck with a message "Loading Variables" or "Loading Devices". If I kill the app and restart it, it seems to load fine but eventually will hang again. I think this problem might have appeared when I jumped to 2.4.3.122, but it's possible it was a later version. I'm running 2.4.3-127 now and the problem still occurs. I have ensured the dashboards are using only a subset of the devices (about 20-30). I have two Fire HD tablets, and they are different hardware (and different OS versions). Wallpanel is version 0.9.6, which hasn't been updated since August 2021.

Has anyone else run into this issue with legacy dashboards intermittently stuck on "Loading Variables" or "Loading Devices"?

I would recommend updating to the latest release. There have been quite a few dashboard listings in the last few release notes, albeit mostly the EZ board. I could have sworn I saw something in release notes about the loading of the boards but a quick scan came up empty. But updating (usually) can't hurt and might help.

I occasionally bump into that issue with two Kindle Fire HD tablets and an old LG phone, all using Fully Kisosk browser. It's been going on for many years.

Definitely not being happening with my setup until just the last few months, it's been very reliable for several years in my case.
