LED Child Devices for RA2 "Tabletop seeTouch 15 Button (RR-T15RL)" Keypad

The Lutron Integrator App is working for some of my RA2 Keypad Models.
I need ideas for getting one final RA2 Keypad Model working.

WORKING GREAT

  • RF Hybrid seeTouch Keypad (RRD-H6BRL)
  • RF seeTouch Keypad (RRD-W7B)
  • Lutron Integrator automatically creates Lutron SeeTouch Keypad devices
  • Current State: numberOfButtons: 9 (not editable)
  • Option to create up to 7 Lutron Component Switch child devices (for LED control)

POSSIBLY WORKING AFTER A MANUAL TWEAK

  • Visor Control Receiver (RR-VCRX)
  • Lutron Integrator automatically creates a Lutron Keypad device
  • Current State: numberOfButtons: 7 (editable)
  • No option to create child devices for LED control
  • Changing the device type Lutron KeypadLutron SeeTouch Keypad
  • Current State: numberOfButtons: 7 (not editable)
  • Option to create up to 7 Lutron Component Switch child devices
  • Full testing for this "fix" is pending.

NO SOLUTION YET

  • Tabletop seeTouch 15 Button (RR-T15RL)
  • Lutron Integrator creates a Lutron Keypad device
  • Current State: numberOfButtons: 15 (editable)
  • No option to create child devices for LED control
  • I manually change device type Lutron KeypadLutron SeeTouch Keypad
  • Current State: numberOfButtons: 15 (not editable)
  • The option to create (up to) 7 Lutron Component Switch child devices is not sufficient for this 15-button keypad.
  • The correct numberOfButtons value does not impact the allowed number of child devices.
Summary

Cannot generate sufficient LED child devices for 15-button Lutron SeeTouch Switch

I can create a preference option to select the numberOfButtons (7 or 15) and thus control the number of child switches, will that work?

That would be awesome!

platform 2.3.6 will have a 15 button option for the Lutron SeeTouch Keypad driver

Much appreciated!

Mike: I was just looking at the "15-key" (really a 19-key), SeeTouch keypad...

As is the custom, Lutron's numbering scheme is odd. I suspect the Lutron Integrator provides a more left-to-right, top-to-bottom numbering.

  [ button 11 ] [ button 6 ] [ button 1 ]
  [ button 12 ] [ button 7 ] [ button 2 ]
  [ button 13 ] [ button 8 ] [ button 3 ]
  [ button 14 ] [ button 9 ] [ button 4 ]
  [ button 15 ] [ button 10 ] [ button 5 ]

  [but 24] [but 25] [ button 17 ] [ button 16 ]

The max button count may need to be 19 vs 15 to make all buttons usable with the current SeeTouch Keypad driver.
