I have been trying to update my hub from 2.2.9.140 to 2.2.9.145. It downloads the update, take quite a bit and then restarts. When it restarts, the update still shows up as available. Nothing works either - all zwave devices, lutron etc.. are non responsive. I have to manually reboot the hub and wait for 5 min after that and then things start working. Is anyone else getting the same issue ?
Go to the hub on port 8081 and reinstall the update.
Moved to Get Help section.
i have tried installing the update multiple times as you can see in the logs. I am trying now from 8081 to see if it makes a difference, though i don't see why it would. Do you know ?
still not working
No issues with latest update that just came out for me
Shutdown and turn off the power to the hub (from the wall socket) let it wait for a minute. Then power back up and try again.
Download your latest backup to your pc... Do a roll back to the previous platform. Do a soft reset and restore the database you backed up to your pc then do the upgrade to 145
use the :8081 admin port to restore to a prior version in the 2.2 series, before .135 (I think it is). The. after it thinks it reboots, remove the power and plug it back in (you only need to wait a few seconds). After it boots up, try the update again. I had to do this. in on of the versions (I think it was 2.2.9..135) the update broke the reboot process. The fix was to restore to a prior version (I think it was 2.2.9.134 or before), shutdown, power off/on, then apply the update. Only with my C3 did the issue affect me immediately. Every thing appeared to be fine on my C7. Then when I tried to update to one of the 2.2.9.14x versions, it would not update. I then proceeded to perform the roll-back recovery on my C7 and everything was fine and I was able to update normally again.

Please use diagnostic tool's Restore previous version option and select 2.2.9.145 from the list. The new version will also handle update properly going forward, the fix is in. No need to soft reset.
Ya that's what I said in the 2nd post
Thank you all. gopher's approach via "Restore previous version" and not via update worked.
