Yes
The lock just kept re-locking every few seconds with no response back.
I noticed in the log that every time it locked the door it gave a different report in the log- locked and unlocked Back and forth even though all the events were lock events.
The virtual lock has been installed and is providing some information back to the virtural event log from the lock.
It’s still does not do it all, when the door is locked by pressing the lock button at the top of the keypad The the door locks but does not report back to the virtual lock event log.
It does however report back to the actual door lock event log. But the event message is unknown. It doesn’t know if the door is locked or not locked.
This seems very strange. Did you get this on Amazon warehouse deals? If you’re referring to the device fingerprint when joining, that is information sent by the device to the hub. I have the zigbee version, but I’m sure the z-wave one should still identify as kwikset.
Unfortunately I'm attending a funeral today and traveling back home tomorrow, but I'll check in and see if I have any thoughts then.
(Although my best recommendation with the kwikset locks is always to change out the z-wave card inside for a zigbee card. The zigbee ones are way way more reliable.)
Hi everybody, thank you for all the help in trying to figure this out.
I have now with the help of all your communications been able to get everything working.
Thank you for your patience and helping me get through this.
Thank you so much for this information. Easy to follow and successful implementation! One question: I have the original Kwikset locks on one of my dashboards next to the new Reliable locks so I can compare. This is trivial, but I noticed on the dashboard tiles the battery does not have a "%" after the battery percentage number. Is this a setting I can change or is this hard-coded? Thanks again,
