I don't really know where to send this question first. Probably konnected but seems to be more robust conversations here.
Simple rule, if any sensors are triggered, buzzer should go off, and has for over two years until till a few days ago and a stupid update (when will I learn not to update stuff). I know the Konnected board is working because when any door opens I also get an SMS and the garage lights turn on if it was the garage. When the buzzers stop buzzing I also lose my ability to manually trigger the siren. Sometimes a reset of the Konnected boards fixes this but sometime not. Its making me lose my mind.
Anyone else having problems with the buzzer/siren
Mine are working fine. I'm using a Konnected Pro board and a DIY add on board each controlling a relay for the piezos. This way the piezos have their own power supply and I'm also using 12v piezos (louder).You can't power too many with just one channel on a board.
I had that issue, turned out I had a board that was from a bad batch or something. Any time power would go out it would not work right afterwards. Try resetting the konnected board from their app. If it then works, reach out to customer service and see if you got a bad board.
Yes, I am also having this problem. The buzzer works, but it will not update the state within HE. Therefore, my pistons and dashboards do not know or display the correct state. Earlier, I posted that I could fix this by deleting the Konnected board and adding it back again. It's just a pain to remember and set up all of my connected sensors/buzzer/siren again. @nate , suggestions?
Sorry for the lack of update, I guess the wires had partially became loose lending to the intermittent problem... Retighted all wires and no more issues... except the lost hair from pulling it out.
