I have been using Fully Kiosk Browser for several years without too many problems on a Lenovo 8" Tablet. Alas, I broke a cardinal rule. If it's not broke don't fix it. I updated the tablet's OS and some things no longer work as smoothly as they had. Most noticeably camera feeds to image tiles periodically stopped loading completely. I updated FKWB app but still encountered problems. Out of frustration I revisited WallPanel but it was also problematic. Then I went web surfing and I stumbled upon Kiosk Lockdown. https://www.android-kiosk.com
I have only toyed with it for a few hours but it looks promising. The configuration interface is (imo) more user friendly than FKWB. It actually also appears to respond more quickly to device status as well as loading iframe content more quickly. You can access a tablet remotely via cloud interface but that incurs a monthly fee. Cost is approximately $10 US per device which is comparable to FKWB license fee.
I do use HD+ on my phone but as far as home tablet I like the enhanced design capabilities provided when using Kiosk interface on a tablet.
