Kasa integration errors

Hi,

All my kasa devices stopped working or work only intermittently recently. I'm still using the stand alone app through HPM and everything's worked fine for years. No recent changes other than hub updates iirc.

A reboot will sometimes get some devices working. Occasionally going to the individual device and hitting "configure" will also temporarily fix things.

The logs continuously show these errors with all the different devices.

I have a mix of switches, dimmers, and plugs. They all work perfectly in the kasa app. They also all have static IP's

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is moving to the built in integration worth it? Would that solve the problem? And would I have to rebuild all my rules when the devices "move over"?

Have you perhaps recently updated your router? This would cause a configure to fix only to fail later if you did not provide DHCP reservations for all.

As far as troubleshooting a deprecated 3 year old app, not really feasible.

No, no recent router changes.

Is the built-in Integration maintained or is it just the last version of the stadn-alone app?

it is maintained whenever there is a error with sufficient data. The original author (me) does this as part of my obligation to the community and the great Hubitat staff. Last fix was to eliminate the cloud communications mode when Kasa moved the cloud address and undocumented protocol.
