Kasa devices - how to disable warnings

One of the reasons that I use WiFi devices like Kasa for Christmas lighting is so that I can unplug them and put them away the rest of the year without affecting either the Zigbee or Z-Wave networks. BUT, Kasa devices through out frequent warnings even if Info Logging is turned off. Is there a way to not get these warnings?

Example:

Kswitch1 : [method:handleCommsError, errCount:4, msg:udpTimeout, count:4, command:{"system":{"get_sysinfo":{}}}, setCommsError:true, status:pollInterval set to 5 minutes, TRY:**CONFIGURE** ]

Try disabling the device in Hubitat. If that does not work, uninstall from Hubitat. It is not hard to reinstall (probably less time than we have spent researching and typing these messages).

I would agree, but I have some complex seasonal automations that I don't want to rebuild. Example: One of the outside outlets runs an air blown snow globe that I automatically deflate/inflate based on the wind speed of my Ecowitt weather station.

I'll look into disabling. Thanks Dave.

I just tested. Disable slider from the device list prevents the warning event.

I have switched things around before by creating virtual switches to take the place of an actual one, and then switching back (or to a new switch).

Just a thought.

I hadn't thought of doing that. I put all of my seasonal plugs on an outlet strip in the guest closet to be rid of the errors.

It’s a great idea and it does work thank you!

I have some seasonal watering rules and valves. I disable the devices and pause the rules. It only takes a few clicks/minutes to fire them back up in the spring.
