Jasco releases GE/Enbrighten No-Neutral wire required Z-Wave Dimmer Switch

Today I received an email from Jasco letting me know that they have just released a new No-Neutral Wire required Z-Wave smart dimmer under the GE Enbrighten brand name. These dimmers do not require the use of a Neutral wire and can also be used with a new version Add-on switch for 3, and 4-way applications.

Until now, the only smart dimmers that didn't require a Neutral wire, that I knew of, were the Lutron Caseta series. Now with the release of this new version from Jasco, there is a Z-Wave based product available.

I am posting this information for educational purposes only. I have no connection to Jasco or GE Enbrighten other than being a user of their products in my home.

I have just been informed that Eaton offers models of their Z-Wave dimmers that also don't require a neutral wire. I wasn't aware of that when I wrote the original post.

As does inovelli.

Not sure about zooz, but I thought they did too (could be wrong).
