@JasonJoel
Hey Jason,
This is a request that I hope you might consider. I use your drivers exclusively for about 100 Jasco/GE/Enbrighten switches, dimmers, fan and motion switches.
I also have a large number of the Jasco/GE outlets. Would you consider writing a driver for them? I'm currently using the built-in smart switch driver for them as the various outlet drivers don't work well for me... ie, accurately reflect status, etc.
If you are able, I can send you data from my devices...

Use the generic z-wave plus outlet driver, that one works for mine. Be sure to hit save the CONFIGURE when you switch drivers (always click configure)
Let me know what models, and I'll go look and see if there is even any benefit to a custom driver (aka any config options that would be useful that are not in the in-box driver).
Anything in particular you are missing currently in functionality? If not, @rlithgow1 is spot on in terms of which in-box driver would be used.

Thanks for the replies Jason/Rick,
I've found and posted a few times before the newer built-in "Plus" drivers just added in the last year or so are problematic for me. Based on other's posts, they are problematic for them as well. Two main things I have experienced with them. First, they don't properly update the device status on/off. Second, I use btworld's device check and device status to keep an eye on my system. Whatever command he uses in his app to query the devices, doesn't work with the "Plus" drivers.
I've asked like many others for the staff to look into this and they are busy with other things or must think we don't know what we are talking about, because those issues are never addressed... No biggie as I have adopted Jason's drivers for most everything...
I will say this, the older "Smart" built-in drivers do work and that is what I use for my outlets. I use the "Generic Smart Switch" driver and that has been great, but it shows as a switch.
Some of this has to do with my Alexa integration and I have actually found something that might be useful to others who struggle with not being able to set a device as a light or plug. More on that later...
Anyway, I use the following outlets... I've also included the firmware version I'm using... I recently went through and update the firmware on all my GE/Jasco devices... Hope this is something you might be able to do for us...
Thanks again.

I have several of the 14288's (your first one) using the generic z-wave plus driver on several rules and they're showing status for me fine. I haven't applied it but GE/Jasco did release a new firmware for that outlet.... Updating the firmware might solve your issue.
