Over the last week or so I have had a problem with a couple of scenes. I have an outdoor light scene but 1 device randomly does not turn on. I activate the scene and it turns on. Any ideas.
All zwave devices.
Have you checked the logs to see if the command is being sent to the device? It is possible that the command is not getting to it due to issues with your Z-Wave mesh.
If you post screenshot of your Z-Wave details, there are a lot of people in the community that can take a look and let you know if they see possible issue.
Here is a partial screenshot of the devices in my outdoor scene. the problems are the two Leviton plugs it seems. They are old and in a hot environment. Most of the time they do turn on. Some mornings they show that they are ON and they are not. They do not show in the log. I am going to replace these I think.
Changing them is likely a good approach, but the reason I was asking for your Z-Wave details is to see if you have any “Ghosts” in your network - ie devices that didn’t pair properly but that the Z-Wave radio is still trying to route through. This is an issue that can slow down the mesh and cause the types of issues you are seeing. I had this issue early on when I first setup my C7 hub. Had some great help to resolve it and it made a world of difference!
Learned a lot about Ghosts recently. I do not see any in the zwave details. Everyone has a route.

Could you check on that page and see if there is a update firmware button?
No update firmware button. I did this recently after this C7 was wiped clean and I reinstalled all devices.
