Issue With Hub Time and Mode

I currently have five C7s operating in Mesh Mode. On one of the C7s, I am having issues with both the hub system TIME as well as the hub system MODE.

After my MODE/TIME based Basic Rules did not run for a few days in a row, I checked the Hub. I found that, inexplicably, the time zone changed to UTC from US/Central on it's own. I assumed that I had found the source of the problem. I changed the time zone back to US/Central and restarted the Hub.

The MODE/TIME based Basic Rules failed again. I checked the hub details again and found that, while the Time Zone was correct, the Sunrise and Sunset times were obviously incorrect (see image).

Additionally, the MODE never changes, irrespective of the TIME issue (unless I force a change through: Mode Manager --> Set Mode --> Update). Meaning, over a 24-hour period, the MODE should have changed either based on UTC or US/Central, but it never does.

Any assistance or insight is greatly appreciated.

How about longitude and latitude? Are those accurate?

Good catch. When I checked last night, they were exactly the same across all five C7s. When I checked just now, I found this: (see image)

I changed the postal code --> Save Settings --> Changed the postal code back to my home code--> Save Settings and the longitude and latitude match across all C7s once again.

However, given the history I've had with this issue, I fear this will only be a temporary fix. Any ideas as to what could be causing it to lose/revert the time zone and latitude and longitude?

Well for sure your hub is not in the Gulf of Guinea!

I wonder if this could be a database corruption issue... if you haven't already you might try doing a backup and restore. The database gets cleaned in that process. It may not fix the problem but it won't hurt.

Are you on the current software release?

For mode changes, can you open Mode manager and click Done? That should restore the scheduled jobs that Mode manager relies on.

Were all hubs affected by this or only a single one? Can you PM me the hub id(s) of affected hub(s)?

Thanks for the advice. I may try a backup and restore. This particular Hub has only been in use in my setup for a short time, with a relatively small number of devices. I database refresh shouldn't be a particularly heavy lift.

As for clicking of "Done" in Mode Manager. I thought that may have been the problem as well. Since then, I have made it a point to make sure that has been clicked prior to exiting the app each time. About 10 minutes ago, at ~2:55pm, I tried setting Night Mode to begin at 3:00pm. It did not change modes.

Currently, I have only been experiencing the issue with one of my hubs. I will PM you the hub id.
