Is something like the following even possible with Hubitat?
In my small mind, it may be.
I have an Eques, Veiu Video doorbell which is totally local. No cloud, all the info is saved to an SD card and my phone. I believe I can get the IP from advanced IP or my router.
I also am a Google Home Hub user which is a Chromecast receiver.
With the API Maker app and the Chromecasr app (and rule machine), my goal would be casting to a Google Home Hub who rang my bell
Well, unless the app for the doorbell has cast integration built in or an exposed HTTP or MPEG video stream (which none of them do, trust me I've checked all of them on amazon) then you're pretty much out of luck. If it did, or you find a cam that does, you can use a a program for Android called TinyCam Pro and Tasker to do this with an IP cam. Technically, you don't need HE to do it but I have it automated through HE to broadcast some of my cams automatically. Unfortunately, I think you're out of luck with this setup though. Judging by the q&a on amazon you have to use their app to view the camera. Can't view it from anything else. You could sync your phone's screen to the chromecast...but that wouldn't happen automatically. Sorry.

Anyone know if Echo Speaks can do this? I have Wyze 2 and they have an Alexa skill that will show the feed when you ask for it. Can I use Echo Speaks to send a silent commands to Alexa like I can with Google Assistant Relay? Would be nice to have the motion alerts automatically pull of the video on my Fire Tablet.
I don't know if Echo Speaks can do it, but it might be possible with the Alexa nodejs kit. The issue is that I don't think there is a custom command available in the nodejs kit that will toggle the Echo Show/Spot/Fire TV/Fire Tablet to show something from another skill without user interaction. There IS a command that is available in the Ring skill, but that skill is closed-source and I've never been able to peek the code to see how they trigger a Show to automatically view a video feed from a Ring device.
@ogiewon Thoughts?
I don't know if this is possible or not. @tonesto7 is the true SME when it comes to Alexa integration possibilities.

Side note of interest (to me anyway) Ring doesn't work properly with a Fire Tablet and ironically, there is no Fire app for it!
In a holding pattern About to buy a Google Home Hub (which Wyze will release support for by the end of March).
Ah, I couldn't resist. I'm weak where IoT devices are concerned.

Thanks Ryan780
Makes seance and saved me a lot of time.
In the future, Google is planing to use Fuchsia for an OS and we will be able to use Android apps then. Sounds like I will have to wait.
Ps. The app is available to Android, not just Amazon.
Has nothing to do with Google or Alexa or Wyze....The camera can only be viewed by it's own app. It does not have a stream. Read the questions on the Amazon listing....I know because I've been looking for one that does have an open stream for months and can't find one.
You can view your Wyze on Google Home Hub. In fact, you can view any IP cam on Google Home hub. All you need is Tiny Cam Pro. I have it set up now, by using Tasker, which also links up with TinyCam Pro, so that when events happen my cams are automatically displayed on Google home hub. Only catch is, each TinyCam Pro can only cast the one cam at a time and it can only cast to One google home hub.
Are you looking for a doorbell/camera with an open stream?

That's correct now, but according to Wyze, it will have RTSP this year. They seem to be hinting that a new camera may be required to add more features beyond this because the camera CPU cannot handle more and still maintain all existing features. Currently, there is an Alexa skill that allows me to view the camera on my Fire HD without using the Wyze app. I just say "Alexa show me [the camera name]"
No Android devices in the house except for the Fire HD, which I cannot devote to Tasker, as it is occasionally taken away.
Once Wyze does add RTSP (I can't WAIT), there's a skill for Alexa called Monocle (https://monoclecam.com/) that exposes nearly any RTSP as a camera feed to Alexa which you can use on your Show/Spot/FireTV/Fire Tablet devices.
I've been using it for about 9 months now with my wired POE cameras and it works great.
Now I just need to figure out a way to get them to automatically popup when motion is triggered. Still working on that part. sigh
THAT'S NOT THE CAMERA THAT THE OP LINKED TO!!!!!! My answer was in response to his question...not some other topic that you brought up.
You can have an RTSP stream from a Wyze if you use Defang hacks.
Yeah, I tried that on one of my v2 cameras and it was way too laggy and buggy. Plus, the whole issue with the night vision on the camera didn't work well with the wife.
Yeah.,..I've resisted trying it for those reasons. There's another software that uses that as a base but has a lot of improvements supposedly. The night vision control is actually one of the reasons i was thinking of switching though. For some reason, the lighting in the area my cam is in hit right on the cusp of night vision and regular vision. I can here it flipping back and forth and back and forth sometimes.
