Is Kasa Camera On/Off Supported by the Hubitat Kasa App?

I am done with Wyze cameras after catching one uploading data to a known malware site and getting no help on the issue from Wyze support.

I'm considering replacing my 2 Wyze cameras with TP-Link Kasa models. My one integration requirement is, for privacy, to only turn an indoor camera on when my security system detects a break-in.

Does the Hubitat Kasa App support the ability to turn cameras on/off?

No, it does not. I am working on a Kasa Camera Integration (SEPARATE from the built-in). It is in final testing and trouble shooting of one minor issue. It is ALL local (no cloud).

If you can accept a cloud integration, I have a previous version that is cloud based. It has, I believe, what you want.
