I have a basic rule programmed: If I use a specific user code on my Iris V2 Keypad (trigger) and any of the contact sensors are open (condition), then I want the pad to beep six times (action). If all of the contact sensors are closed, then it will do nothing. The Iris V2 Keypad has a "beep" option. But nothing happens when I type in the specific code. I've written the same basic rule to turn on a switch if any door is open, and that rule works. However, I can't get the keypad to beep or to trigger the rule. How do I trigger a rule with a keypad entry as a trigger and how do I get the keypad to beep? Any suggestions?
NOTE: If I write the rule with the keypad changing the armed status as the trigger, I have to manually run the rule from the Hubitat dashboard to get the rule to update status and recognize the changes. But changing the armed status from the keypad does not trigger the the rule to action.
