What channel is your 2.4GHz WiFi using for your home network?
You’ll need to make sure there are no conflicts between these devices. I use 2.4GHz WiFi channels 1, 6, and 11 with a 20MHz channel width. For Zigbee, I use channel 20. This has been very reliable for years, but YMMV.
Is your ST hub still plugged in? I ask because it will still be transmitting a Zigbee signal and your Hubitat hub will usually choose a different channel because of this interference. To have a successful mesh it is important to set a good channel and once done you never have to mess with it.
These devices are about 10' away from the hub and there are repeaters in rooms throughout the house.
I tried to pair another humidity sensor (same model I paired to it the night before and the hub didn't see it either.
No channels are over lapping.
I tried to change the HE Zigbee channel and it just stay at what was set at.
I tried to add a 2nd Humidity temp sensor just like the one I paired the night before and the hub doesn't see it. I removed the sensor that was paired, reset it and it will not rejoin the hub.
What is it set to currently? I moved from ST in early 2018 and I had difficulty pairing the ST water sensors yet contacts and motions were fine. This was because my HE had chosen a higher Zigbee channel. Once I changed it to 20 I have had zero issues and I have over 75 Zigbee devices.
I would definitely try to change the Zigbee channel away from 11. Some Zigbee devices are very picky about which channels they will work with. When I switched to Hubitat in 2018, some of my old ST sensors would not pair with high numbered Zigbee channels. Changing to Zigbee channel 20 resolved all of my pairing issues.
It is odd that your Hubitat hub is not successfully changing its Zigbee channel. I am tagging @support_team from Hubitat to see if one of the Hubitat support folks might want to chime in.
These have paired easily for me on both ST and HE, and are the only motion sensors I use, aside from two outdoor Hue motion sensors, so I have a ton of them and no issues.
Your zigbee channel setting is a bit odd...once you sort that out I'm sure the sensors will pair and work flawlessy, as they have for me.
If you haven't rebooted your Hubitat hub, I would do so and try again. Also make sure that you do not have any unknown devices paired to your hub. If you do remove them before attempting to pair your Iris V2 devices.
1:> Change zigbee channel to either 15 or 20. Reboot hub after from settings menu.
2:> Factory reset Iris v2 Motion sensor. Remove battery. While holding
down the reset button on the side
of the device, reinsert battery to
factory reset the device.
3:> Initiate plain old zigbee pairing on hubitat (don't bother with trying to find manufacturer stuff)
3a: If no pairing happens on Hubitat, let the zigbee timer run out. Remove battery from Iris v2 motion sensor. Initiate zigbee pairinig on Hubitat. Now insert battery into Iris v2 and wait.
