The battery life on the keypad is not good on hi it's. I remember smart things had similar problem. The one think I've noticed is the LEDs stay on all of the time. Is there something I can do to increase battery life or is it something that needs to be done on the driver
There's an update coming for that in the next release. This is only true for very early Gen 2 devices apparently. Waving your hand in front of the device should turn them off.
What is a ballpark guess on when the next release will be. I'm a newbie and have only seen one release since I converted so I don't know the typical cadence. Getting my family to wave at it is not going to happen and batteries are not cheap for the device.
They are usually every couple weeks but there really is no set schedule.
I see a new device type on iris v2.. So I'll be putting batteries in my keypads and trying er out
