Iris 3326-L motion sensor (select Iris, or use generic zigbee motion sensor?)

I bought 20 of these from ebay for cheap. When I add them, it defaults to "Generic Zigbee Motion Sensor". Should I leave it, or should I be changing it to Iris V1 Motion sensor? I don't know if these are v1 or v2.

The generic driver Hubitat chose to use is correct. Despite what you might infer from the name, the generic drivers are the appropriate drivers for a lot of devices that behave in similar fashions from a Zigbee or Z-Wave standpoint. Hubitat staff decided to cover most devices of a specific class with one driver where possible; they're not a "second-best" fallback. (Generally speaking, you're only in trouble if it didn't find a driver at all and it got paired as "Device." Sometimes--like with the 2018 ST sensors--the device fingerprint is also different between different device firmware revisions, and Hubitat will pick the wrong driver like a moisture sensor instead of a motion sensor, but that's probably rare now and they'll fix it as they discover these problems. Usually you're good if Hubitat picks a driver.)

Also, the 3326-L sensor is the v2. You got the good ones. The v1 sensors work with Hubitat as of a couple hub firmware versions ago, but they use a proprietary Zigbee profile (that's why they didn't work until recently); are reportedly a bit slower to respond; and are, IMO, significantly uglier.

I agree that the generic zigbee motion sensor is the appropriate one to use. I disagree that the V1 motion sensors are slower to respond. I have some of them set up and they are just as fast to respond to motion as the Bosch motion sensors I have installed. What is different is that the Iris V1 motion sensors have an active period of about 45 seconds before they revert to inactive.

My Iris V1 devices are on their own Hubitat hub so they don't interfere with the rest of my devices. I found that there was instability with some devices when the Iris V1 devices were paired with the same hub as the rest of my Zigbee HA1.2, Zigbee 3.0, and Z-Wave devices.
