Is it possible to control devices from my remote control? Are there any IR or RF converters out there that can be integrated with Hubitat. I'd like to have a programmable button on my remote toggle the shades in my living room up and down.

Do you have a Harmony remote? If so you can do it through the harmony integration. a Remotec ZXT-310 will give you z-wave to ir but I don't think IR but not the other way around I don't think.
I do not have a harmony remote. I heard they were on their way out.
I have an Nvidia shield remote and I was going to use the Button Mapper app to send out an IR hex code to control the shades when the Netflix button is pressed, instead of opening netflix.
