iPhone issues - unlinking an account, showing up as "unsupported", etc

I installed the app on my spouses phone. It was showing as a separate device, but was showing as "Cloud" access, not local, even though both devices are on the same wifi network. Initially I had logged in with the same account for both devices, but registered the device as a new mobile device. I thought maybe the cloud issue because it was a new phone, so I deleted, tried it again, and linked it to the existing mobile device.

Two issues now:

  1. Their device is still showing up as "Cloud" access, pretty much no matter what I've done. I even deleted their wifi login and logged in again.
  2. Bigger issue...I cannot "unlink" their mobile device from being the same as mine. The app no longer asks me to choose or register a new device when I reinstall their app, and I can't figure out a way to unlink it. So no matter what, the two devices are being recognized as one device on the devices list.

Any advice addressing either problem?

Well I figured out the unlinking issue.

  1. Delete my phone device from the hub
  2. Set up spouses phone first
  3. When it goes to connect to the hub, doesn't see the previous device, so it won't autolink
  4. Can set up spouses phone device then
  5. Then reinstall my phone and set up my device

However, both devices are now showing cloud and not local access. I'm assuming this is an app issue though (hopefully)
