Yeay, widgets for iOS. Looking promising.

There are only a limited devices available to select. Looks to be an erratic selection.

Is there a way to select what devices are available to be selected?

I played around with this and was able to add any device.

The issue I found was it only seemed to work locally. If not local the widget wouldn't do anything.

Edit: If you use HomeKit I found those widgets work great.

Interesting, no difference if local or cloud for me.

Doesn't work for me. I set up a widget to turn a light on/off. Works fine as long as I'm connected to my home network. If I leave, or turn off the wifi it no longer controls the light. Interesting part is the widget itself changes state but the actual light doesn't.

I can open the app itself perform the same test and it works fine. Just the widget not working.

My widget does not work away from home network. the light icon changes but the action is not triggered, Any plans to fix this? its a great addon but if only works locally no point in having quick access. I have tried dashboards external and they work fine. I have an push alerts when the light turns so i know its run ok. the fact that the widget changes colour on/off is very misleading when external expecally for security lights.
hope there are plans to fix.

I wonder what is different? do you havea fixed ip address on yuor hub?
