Internet down affecting zigbee

My Internet connection keeps dropping and my zigbee devices are not responding, is the normal?
I'm using a C8

what channel is your zigbee on and what channel is your wifi on? If your wifi is on 20 move it to 25 as there have been issues with it lately. Move your wifi to 6 or below.

Oops... Meant Zigbee above. :slightly_smiling_face:

Just noticed that it's my motion presence sensors

What makes you think these two things are related?

In general, zigbee has nothing to do with your internet connection.

Are you referring to your hub’s connection to the internet?

Or your whole house’s internet connection?

Make sure your 2.4GHz WiFi and your Zigbee channel do not overlap.

If they are on one and the same frequency channels, both the WiFi and the Zigbee connections will have problems. Usually, it is the Zigbee that suffers more.

I live in a big apartment complex. There are gazillion of WiFi routers and BT devices around. The entire 2.4GHz spectrum is 100% occupied, no free gups at all. At the beginning I thought Zigbee will not work at all in this super noisy environment. But surprisingly it works and very reliable.
Just another RF mistery.

There are many of us who are currently experiencing Zigbee issues.
No response yet from Support.

Please see the following threads:

That must be a thread from the beta area.......

The first link in @jtmpush18ā€˜s post above is in the beta category. The second isn’t.

I don’t think there’s enough information in this thread to even begin to assess whether the OP’s issue with some zigbee motion sensors could be at all related to other users’ reported zigbee issues.

My apologies for linking to the Beta area.
I presume that 2.3.9.150 is general release now, and not Beta. Is that correct?

Although many users are having issues with Zigbee on this release, I'm confident that Hubitat support staff is working on the problem, and will fix it as soon as possible.

True, but when a release is moved from beta to prod, that doesn't "open" access to corresponding posts in the Beta forum or anything like that.

@gopher.ny
Has there been any changes to account for the problems with Zigbee?
Personally, I have a number of devices which just can't seem to pair.
Others here seem to have the same issue.

It was just my zigbee remotes. I've changed my zigbee channel to 25 and re-added the remotes and all is working, thanks for your help

Same issue? What exactly is the same issue?

Zigbee devices acting up could be due to a number of issues that are user environment specific. And should generally be ruled out first whenever possible.
