Interesting article - MyQ and local control story

One thing I can not understand is why the screw keyhole on the back go the other way.

All the pics on the website show it with screws down and from my install that was what I envisioned all along. And when I went to mount them on the little piece of plywood I had to do a double take. Ended up having to use the 3M Velcro stuff.

Nice install, now you need to place some stickers on each motor so that it reads "Powered by GDO blaQ" instead MyQ :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Ha. Great idea. I will have to put a request in with my wife to do one on her Cricut !

Wonder if anyone has tried one of these? It's basically just a button that pushes your remote button. But that means it can't be blocked by the garage door company. It's Matter over WiFi.

THIRDREALITY Smart Garage Door Opener

I have 2 solutions: The RATGDO and also a failsafe as a soldered connection to the button circuit of the opener on the wall (did that one before I learned of RATGDO). Both work perfectly, but I prefer the RATGDO.

I would suspect that as long as the Thirdreality solution is supported within Hubitat, it should work.
