I have two GoControl Z-Wave thermostats on a two zone, electric HVAC system that I use with Hubitat… completely locally controlled. They were a good value and work well. Nothing fancy, and I do all of the programming inside Hubitat making them quite flexible and powerful. They have the option of being battery powered if need be. Obviously you’ve gotta check your wiring, compatibility, etc.
