Until the recent updates, the Integrated Mode Manager was working fine. Now, it works sometimes. Today, I left the home, confirmed it was in Away mode remotely. When I got back home around 3:00 PM, instead of resuming Day mode, it went to Morning mode. Last night, it never switched from Evening mode to Night mode. I don’t see a way to turn on logging for Integrated Mode Manager. What is going on? How can I troubleshoot this?
Update: I setup a rule to notify me when the mode changes. The hub time is correct in settings, but the notification is showing an hour later than the actual time. Something is off on the back end, it appears.
Are you 100% that the timezone AND your location are set correctly?
John, as certain as I can be. Here is a screenshot of my settings. Everything looks right to me on the settings page.
Hello Hubitat Support,
I have only received one community member asking me to confirm the correct time zone. This problem has not received the attention of the Hubitat Support Team and I would really like get a response.
I decided to create my own Rule Machine to set my modes since the Integrated Mode Manager isn’t working for me. What I discovered I believe shows there is some bug in Hubitat.
Look at my code:
Notice the “When time is Sunrise-30 minutes(6:25)”? If you look at the hub settings, it shows sunrise as 05:55, which is correct. Why does the code come up with 06:25? I think it is because it thinks the sunrise is at 06:55 and deducts 30 minutes to come up with 06:25.
Here are two screen shots of my hub settings so you can see sunrise/sunset, and my time zone. I have used the Lat/Lon coordinates and put them in Google Maps to confirm it finds my location, and the coordinates are correct.
So, it appears I am doing everything correctly, but the hub is somehow using the wrong information for sunrise and sunset. If I am doing something incorrectly, more than happy to stand corrected.
Looking forward to hearing back from support on how to get this working correctly.
Thank you,
John Pavlik
Might be your time zone selection. Try Mexico/BajaSur (if that's correct), MST, or Etc/GMT+7.
