Integrate Bluetooth Landscape Lighting?

Is it possible to integrate Bluetooth landscape lighting such as:

Thanks!

Not directly, since Hubitat has no Bluetooth radio.

Sure.

Looks like Home Assistant can control Bluetooth devices. I could then use Home Assitant Device Bridge to get them into Hubitat - or perhaps there's an easier way?

Yes if you have HA running on a device with Bluetooth dongle, HADB should be capable of bringing the lights into Hubitat.

Not sure what else you have in mind as an easier solution. The lights use Bluetooth, Hubitat can’t control Bluetooth devices.

Depends on how you define “easier”. LIFX makes matter landscape lighting and hubitat supports matter. Also several companies make zigbee landscape lighting that will have a very good shot at “just working”. If the purchasing decision has already been made, then you will need an intermediate device to get bluetooth devices into hubitat. Home Assistant would be your best chance at success, assuming it supports these bluetooth devices in particular.

Waiting for a new hardware generation of the hub that supports Bluetooth would be easier.

But you’d have to be prepared to wait a while, possibly forever (i.e. no one knows if this will ever happen except staff and they’re not going to spill the beans).

Govee has allot of lights for landscaping and they will use wifi and their LAN API.

Thanks for the tip! Govee definitely has a variety of interesting outdoor lighting but it appears they don't offer built-in hardscape / raised planter lighting.

It baffles me that smart home lighting companies and landscape lighting companies appear to live in different universes. I get that they originated from different industries and eras but it's like there's a giant unscalable wall between them and the only knowledge that passes between them is what they discover after years of chipping away at the wall enough to create a pencil sized hole to see and listen through...

What does this mean to you. I have found allot of times with a little creativity some of their products can be used for unexpected purposes.

There are a variety of Govee products that can do the lighting that the images shown, but I think the classification of Hardscape is something simply beyond the concept of what Govee is. Atleast for now. Probably the closes thing to it would be the Perm Outdoor lighting for around the Roof overhang
