Inovelli Red Series dimmer - Log Error

Any idea what would cause this error to show up in the logs?

MERGE INTO DEVICE_SETTING (VERSION, NAME, TYPE, VALUE, DEVICE_ID) KEY (DEVICE_ID, NAME) VALUES (1, ?, ?, ?, ?) [23505-197] Query: MERGE INTO DEVICE_SETTING (VERSION, NAME, TYPE, VALUE, DEVICE_ID) KEY (DEVICE_ID, NAME) VALUES (1, ?, ?, ?, ?) Parameters: [parameter13custom, number, 234, 134] on line 1144 (method parse)

It showed up for the first time today (about 3 times in a row) and then again about an hour later.

I am using the Inovelli driver (not HE built in). Thanks for your help.

That looks like an error resulting from a corrupt hub database. I'd download a backup (or a backup plus a few recent ones) in case you need it, then try a restart of your hub, which might fix things on its own. If not, I'd suggest a soft reset and then restoring your backup (your devices will remain paired as long as you don't do a full reset, which is not easy to get to).

Thanks - I’ve done the download, soft reset, restore dance before but was hoping it would it be needed but oh well… :man_shrugging:t2:

@bobbyD - is there any way to confirm I have a corrupt database? I would rather not go down the download/reset/restore path unless it is needed.

As much as it pains me , I'm going to have to agree with @bertabcd1234 's analysis and say a backup/restore may be your best bet.

That looks like corrupted db, Soft Reset is advised. You don't have to download. Hit Diagnostic Tool, select Soft Reset. Let it run. When you see the green "Get Started" page, scroll down and click "Restore Backup", load one of the backups that are saved on your hub.

Thanks @bobbyD @thebearmay @bertabcd1234 - done!

A feature request - can we make the "Restore Backup" a bit more prominent? I missed it the first time
