Inovelli NZW96 Driver Error

Hey Eric,
Setting up a new NZW96 and the module syncs up and works (on/off) but I'm getting an error in the HE log when I click on the any of the 'Indicator' buttons on the device status screen.

Thanks @bptworld, I have actually been meaning to remove the Indicator capability (which would remove those buttons). You can change the indicator LED in the “Preferences” section.

I feel like the Indicator capability is antiquated and left over from the early days of SmartThings (lots of people just do it in the preferences). Plus, our newer firmwares support an “Always On” option which isn’t part of the capability.

Thanks for the reply. I’m replacing all my old plug-in modules with Inovelli to gain the zwave plus benefits. Specifically choose Inovelli for the awesome support!

Have some more modules coming in from Amazon this weekend. :slight_smile:

Nice! Just an update, I made the modification to the handlers so that the indicator “buttons” shouldn’t show up anymore. The updates are in Github, but if you want a quick fix you can just delete the line that says:

capability “Indicator”

That would take care of it. :wink:
