Hi. I have a C7 fully updated to 2.4.3.149.
I have used Innr bulbs without a problem and fancied trying some ct bulbs.
Initially pairing seemed to go fine. Hubitat selected Advanced Zigbee RGBW drivers.
Then it went down hill. It just doesn't work. I have dried different drivers.
Looking at the logs for my other Innr bulbs they say "Configuring Reporting"
The ct bulb says "starting options testing..."
I have reset the bulb and re-paired several times. Restarted Hubitat and tried again. Even tried a second bulb. No luck.
Any ideas would be appreciated...
I would try the Generic Zigbee CT Bulb driver, if the bulb does not do color.
Change the driver under Type on the device info tab, then go to the command page and press configure. Then close and reopen the device page.
Thanks chrisbvt.
That is one of the better drivers. I can turn on/off. Dim up/down.
I will have a play with that more tomorrow.
Hi again.
I have spent some more time playing.
If I write a this rule in Rule Machine everything works fine.
However, if I change it to this:
The app shows no errors in the log but the bulb gives an error
error:
java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "0A00" on line 167 (method setColorTemperature)
My preferred app is Roomlighting. I did this:
Doesn't work with the app saying:
info Already Activated
info Activation Event: 'Office Buttons' pushed 3
Any ideas? Many thanks for any suggestions.
I don't know if it would help you, but it could be worth a shot to try my driver for INNR AE264 and RB247T as the last one actually is a CT-bulb. The driver is found here: LINK
Thanks Calle. I will have a play now!
Thanks Calle that is much much better! Works well in Room Lighting.
Only thing it doesn't do is dim up/down using Dimmer Button Controller by Robert Morris.
I get the following error:
app:542025-11-25 20:45:43.671error java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Command 'stopLevelChange' is not supported by device 28. on line 805 (method buttonHandler)
app:542025-11-25 20:45:42.055error Unable to start level change up on [CT Lamp Bulb]: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Command 'startLevelChange' is not supported by device 28.
Is there anything I can do about this? Then it would be perfect!
I have updated to version 1.2.1 on Github so that it now includes dimming, you can use the previous link for downloading. But please bear in mind that this version is untested from my part as I'm not currently using Hubitat at the moment. That said, I would save the new code as a separate new driver so that you can fallback to the previous version if needed.
Sorry for being a pain Calle.
That looks like the same driver to me. I have refreshed the page. What am I doing wrong now?
I have Zigbee INNR AE 270 T CT bulbs that respond well to manual on/off, dimming, and warmth controls with the system assigned Zigbee Advanced RGBW driver. I'm not doing anything particularly interesting with the automation apps for these yet, but the base driver works well for me.
Hi user7073
I did some reading before purchasing the bulbs and everything suggested they should be fine.
I don't know what I have done different but that driver didn't work for me.
Thus far the driver from Calle have performed very well indeed.
Guess I will stick to them!
Now that I think of it, my configuration is probably a bit more convoluted than most. I use Hubitat for my Zigbee and Z-Wave device connections, and automation, but I pass those entities to Home Assistant via the HomeAssistant app for dashboard manipulation.
The HE lack of dashboard flexibility was challenging for me early on, so when I decided to add HA mainly to get more WiFi entities into my automation, I also started experimenting with HA dashboards. So I was probably setting brightness and warmth in an HA dashboard passed to HE as opposed to natively controlling it within the HE tools.
My mistake... I was under the impression that the old link would still work as I just updated the code. None less, please use this link instead for the new driver. Keep in mind, still untested by me for the previously reasons already mentioned.
Hi Calle.
No joy I am affraid. I get this error:
error groovy.lang.MissingMethodException: No signature of method: com.hubitat.zigbee.Zigbee.hexString() is applicable for argument types: (java.lang.Integer, java.lang.Integer) values: [0, 2
Please don't spend too much time on this on my behalf!
Dave
