Innr bulb sometimes ignores command-setLevel from webCoRE

Hub = C7 (just updated to 2.3.5.152, but not new to this update)
Device = Innr White A19 Zibgee
Type = Advanced Zigbee Bulb

Observations:

  • Works as expected from Device page
  • Works intermittently when 'set level' command issued from webCoRE (user app)
  • Same behavior from multiple bulbs running similar pistons
  • Events below show one bulb receiving the same command and behaving differently

Sometimes I go to the HE webCoRE app settings to re-save the device list (no changes) and it seems to be better for a while. I have about a dozen Innr bulbs and it seems to strike them randomly. The bulbs are mostly on hardwired circuits and are exclusively controlled via pistons.

Yes, the pistons are behaving as expected, as demonstrated by the commands on the device events page.

Any thoughts?

When commands don't work sporadically on a random device (z-wave or zigbee), it usually points to mesh weaknesses. I don't know how many retries a zigbee coordinator has for a message to a device, but apparently that number expired without the bulb receiving the command.

Fair point. I just pulled the following. To me, it looks reasonable, but I admit that I am also the person missing something.

Ok. Not sure what, but something is going on here. I noticed that the living room lamp bulb was not behaving. While sitting on the couch, I re-saved the webCoRE app devices and it magically worked.

It is tough to troubleshoot intermittent, but not letting this go. On my way for business travel, so my ability to answer questions may be limited for a few days, but something simply isn't right.
