Illuminance api?

What are people using for local illuminance? DarkSky seems to be breaking down, so I switched to OpenWeatherMap and discovered it doesn't report Illuminance.

A Dome DMMS-1 motion sensor pointing outside (from inside) in one of my windows. But an Inovelli LZW60, Fibaro FGMS-001, Sensative Strips Comfort, Hue indoor or our outdoor motion sensor, Zooz ZSE18 outdoor motion sensor, or a variety of other Z-Wave or Zigbee illumiance-supporting devices would would probably work too. (The only thing I can think of that looks like it would work but might not be as good as you think is the Zooz ZSE40 4-in-1, which caps out at about 50-something lux that the driver scales from Zooz's nearly-arbitrary light values of 0-100%, but it still can be useful for figuring out "light enough" vs. "dark enough.")

Yeah, yeah, it's not an online source, but it both executes locally and is literally my local illuminance, and after getting tired of having to change my weather source every few months when online services change their minds about if or how their APIs work, I decided it was better. Just something else to consider!

Weatherflow weather station.

I have a Philips Hue outdoor motion sensor on our deck that works well.

The cheap little Xiaomi illuminance sensor. It's perfect. I use 2 of them outdoors and average the illuminance for use in lighting/mode routines.
