EDIT: Ignore - This has bizarrely sorted itself out. The vol up and down don't work but the logging resolved itself and the rule began triggering as expected. Not a clue what changed in the last 9 hours....I'll leave this post here for now in case it fails again.
I have a Denon X3800H AVR that's been working in Hubitat since I bought it.
I have a rule that turns on an outlet to which the Subwoofer is connected when the AVR turns on, and turns the outlet off again when the AVR turns off. This has stopped working since the latest Denon firmware update (yesterday December 4th). I've noticed the following issues since the update:
- I don't use them, but Volume Up and Volume Down no longer work from the device preference pane (mute, unmute, set volume, on, off work as normal)
- If I use any of the working functions (mute, unmute, set volume, on, off) from the device preferences - those commands used populate the logs as expected.......However.....
- If I operate the Denon with the remote control and use any of the functions listed above, NOTHING is logged.
So with regard to my rule if I were to use the device preferences to turn the AVR on - the switch turning on is logged, triggers my rule and turns on the outlet for the subwoofer. Turning off the AVR from device preferences, again off is logged, triggers the rule and turns off the outlet. However using the AVR remote (or my Harmony remote), the AVR turns on/off, logs nothing (even though the state changes to on/off in preferences) and the rule doesn't trigger.
I've used initialise but that makes no difference as the connection is fine, it just only seems to be logging commands generated from the driver and not when the device is commanded by it's remote.
