IFTTT Connection stopped working (and can no longer connect)

I've had a Hubitat connection set up in IFTTT for ages and today it stopped working.

After removing the Hubitat connection, trying to re-add it results in refusal to connect. Can someone @support_team please look into this.

What are you using IFTTT for?

It shouldn't matter, the problem is with the integration here.

But I'm using it to turn on a virtual switch when I complete activities in Strava.

I haven't changed anything significant lately like HE firmware update or anything like that which might have broken things.

One day this was working and now it's not. I think it might have been Aug 25th when it stopped working actually.

I was unable to replicate the issue. The connection works as expected. The problem is that your hub is not connected to the cloud at the moment, thus you cannot authorize any cloud based integrations.

Was just asking to see if there could be alternatives to accomplish the same thing.

IFTTT has been garbage for years, IMHO.

And according to Bobby there’s nothing wrong with the integration, in general. So I do hope you can get to the bottom of your hub’s cloud access issue.

Best of luck.

@bobbyD How and why does a hub disconnect "from the cloud"?

My setup has never changed, Static IP connected via LAN, no WiFi, nothing fancy.

I'm paying for cloud backups so it would be nice to know when this happens because it's clearly unable to create those backups in this state.

Reboot the hub fixed the problem but that is not an adequate "fix".
