Ya they are expanding right into the crapper.

The new app was a travesty in my opinion . Especially if you have lots of rules or devices. Not only is it crippled compared to the old app but 70% of the time nothing comes up. And its not like it just came out. That doesn't even get into the fact that the use and groovy are going away.

I guess if you stay with Samsung appliances in addition to devices that meeting their new cloud standards they may make some inroads. But so far I have been seeing more products touting Google, Amazon, Wifi, IFTTT first and hubs second. Also many platforms are pushing apps at all costs.
