I do receive notifications, except from the Notifications App?

Can someone please help me with missing notifications from the Notifications app? (Notifications from Rule Machine and Basic Rules do work.)

The log shows they are sent but on my phone nothing was received (while being at home, wifi network)

I'm using the latest Android Hubitat app and I'm NOT logged out.

I tried looking in this forum, searched in the app docs but no help, I don't know how to troubleshoot this. I did NOT remove the notification and build it again. There must be something I overlooked...

Also can't find a way to send a test message from the Notification app?

Do you have the correct notification device (your phone, it sounds like) selected in the Notifier app? You'd need to open the "Poort is open" app and look under Text Notifications > Select notification devices. If you have multiple devices, make sure it's the same one that you know works.

Thank you! Yes I triple checked this... Forgot to say I got 1 or 2 times a notification after making the rule but then silence.

I find it strange that other notifications are coming through (from other apps)

As a workaround I can and maybe should ditch the Notification app but I like to dig in and look for the cause rather than look for the easy way out.

Just hitting "Done" in the app might re-initialize things if you haven't tried that already. Otherwise, I'd maybe share your configuration here (a screenshot of the app, maybe?) in case somebody can see something.

I tried clicking 'done' several times but left it and today, out of the blue the notification came in twice.

But... after that the notifications stopped again.

Again, in the log everything seems ok...

SOLUTION:
I will stop using the Notifications app, best option I think.
