I can discover hub but can't connect

The light on my C8 hub is green and automations are working, but when I try to connect I get " This site can’t be reached". Tried another browesr, too. Using hub discovery I see it there. I restarted the hub by pulling power, no change. What am I missing here?
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Can you reach the hub via browser at 172.16.0.144? Are you on the same subnet?

I can't browse to it by IP address, and I'm on the same subnet. One thing I didn't do was restart my network hardware.... I'm going to do that now.

check if you can ping it. If you can see if you can go to 172.16.0.144:8081 to get to the service menu. If so do a restore from last backup.

Did that & it worked! Luckily I had backed up recently.

For reference, before you try pulling power on a hub which can create problems that might not have been there, you should do this first:

If you can get there, you can try a reboot with rebuild, or a shutdown without risk of corrupting the database if it wasn't already corrupted.
