Hue outdoor motion sensor issue again

Hue Motion Sensor (outdoor) shows inactive. Changed batteries, rebooted hub, changed channels. No luck...I'm stumped.

Paired direct or integrated via Hue? Either way, is there a compatible repeater(s) positioned well enough to relay effectively? Putting outdoor sensors at the edge or out of range is a common whoopsie.

You say "again" in the title as if there is some additional context that should ring a bell for us, but this is your first post in the community here, so :person_shrugging:

That said, welcome to the community!

My Zigbee irrigation controllers and sensors will do that outside sometimes, since they are living on the edge of my Zigbee range. My exterior wall really blocks the signal compared to interior walls.

I usually just start Zigbee pairing, and then put the device in pairing mode with the flashing light, and it just slips back into place. Hubitat will tell you if it finds and reconnects a device during pairing mode, and you can click the device name it shows for reconnected as a link into the device page.

Thanks. By saying “again’” I meant my issue was in addition to the Hue problems others had posted.
I appreciate everyone’s input.
