Hue integration stuck in discovery mode

I accidentally triggered the discovery/bind process on an already discovered Hue hub and it seems it can't get out of it, even if I press the button on the Hue Hub.

inBulbDiscovery is true in app's config

Name Type Value
selectedBulbs enum
selectedGroups enum
selectedHue enum XXXXXXXXXX

This will be fixed in an upcoming hotfix. However, if you reload the browser page after pressing the hue bridge button when it asks, it should move to the next step.

Will the bug that Hub Bridge status showing "offline" but working fine be fixed also?

Wasn't aware of this issue. Will look into it.

@patrick .104 hasn't fixed the issue for me. The reload trick doesn't work either.

I have this too. Didnt realise it was a bug. Reporting offline, but actually online.

After you push the button on the bridge are you clicking done or waiting? I've tested this 10 times and it worked all but one time when I was too impatient and clicked the done button.

It does work, if it's stuck, just remove it and start over. Press the bridge button and wait. It should then say successful within 5 seconds. If not, rinse and repeat.

Well it isn't a bug as much as a missing feature. Bug would imply we report the status incorrectly. The driver simply doesn't report it's status. Mainly because the logging shows it is active.

@Patrick I'm waiting, nothing happens. If I remove it I will loose all the configured lights, right?

If you have a blank username then you have lost them already. Keep trying the cycle of push the bridge button, wait 5 seconds. It should refresh and with take you back to the hub select or find the username.

If after about 10 seconds you don't see either, click done and then start the process again.

Also, how did you get to this if you already had bulbs discovered? You can always start a new instance of the hue bridge app and see if it works. Something else might have screwed up this instance.

Are you still stuck in discovery? I had this issue before I saw this post and just rebooted the hub. Solved it for me.

Don't know what I did (after push button) Been like this for weeks. For me, it never showed active always inactive.

If nothing else, Hue again works with HE. I wonder if it was "push the button, then hit next" vs "hit next then push the button"...

@Patrick pressing the hue hub's button multiple times did the trick. thanks.

Any update on this? It's clearly active, just my OCD'ness.

Same here, stuck with push the button. After that it's redirected to discovery page over and over again.

Push the button then hit next on discovery page did the trick.

Thanks for the fix with 2.0.1. My hue is now showing up on the device page as ACTIVE.
