Hue bulbs not showing up in built-in Groups and Scenes app

I recently acquired a Hue bridge and I integrated using the built-in Hue Bridge Integration. It brings the bulbs I connected to the Hue into my hub as bulbs I can control almost anywhere (using system type hueBridgeBulbRGBW).

Since only a fraction of my bulbs can be on the Hue, I'm trying to integrate those bulbs into my existing setup. I have a number of things using the old Groups and Scenes app.

However, the Hub bulbs don't show up in any of these drop downs when existing an exisiting scene:

What I found is that the Hue bulb does show up if I create a new scene (both using 1.5.2 of the scene child device).

OMG... clicking this made the device show up.

I though that only applied if I had added new devices since I opened the scene app (which I hadn't). I certainly had added new devices since I created the scene app back in 2021.

I'm amazing it somehow cached what devices existing back then.
