Hue Bulb (direct pairing) local state reporting not working

I have a number of latest generation Hue bulbs (the ones with bluetooth) that I paired directly to Hubitat and manually selected the Advanced Zigbee RGBW driver which had worked perfectly.

I got the bulb so that I could have local control from the new Inovelli Blue switches and to my delight I was able to directly bind the Inovelli switch to Hue bulbs and it responds extremely fast to on/off and dimming levels.

It is here that I ran into my issue. I was under the impression that the new Hue bulbs supported attribute reporting but when the Inovelli Switch directly changes the on/off or level on the Hue bulb, those updates are not reflected in the Hubitat device, nor is there any traffic reported in the Zigbee log.

The advanced zigbee RGBW driver does not have a Poll or Refresh command so I am thinking it was designed for attribute reporting. What I do not know is how to make the Hue bulb report when there is a local/direct change made to state nor can I set up a rule to auto-poll the bulbs when the switch state change (since it does report the attribute changes)

My question is this, has anyone done a setup where the Hue bulbs are reporting their local state changes when paired directly to the Hubitat hub?

Thanks!

try the generic RGBW driver, the advanced driver was not designed to track changes initiated from another endpoint, it was designed to be controlled from the hub only.

Thanks Mike, I was not aware of that limitation, I switched drivers (clearing things out first and using configure afterwards) and I'm seeing some traffic being reported which is an encouraging sign.
