Hello i am having trouble, with the phillips hue bridge and the hubitat being on at the same time. If my phillips hue bridge is on at the same time as my hubitat bridge, the philips hue bridge doesnt work. Anyone know how to solve this problem? PS: i have tried everything, soft reset hue bridge, hard reset, factory reset, turning it off, adding the lights again, first turning of hubitat bridge and then turning it back on, and nothing. Please somebody help
Sounds like a zigbee channel interference issue?
Have you tried changing hue or Hubitat channels?
Pleas elaborate on this. That could mean the hub wont even turn on all the way to everything works except this one bulb wont turn on.
Also, yes at first blush without having enough information I would guess you have both hubs on the same Zigbee channel and they are causing interference.
Any chance both the Hue bridge and Hubitat hub have the same IP address? This is definitely a strange issue. Many of us have both Hue and Hubitat hubs running on our networks without any issues.
It might be helpful if you explain your home's network topology in detail. Often, issues like this are the result of a complex network configuration.
Have the two devices ever peacefully co-existed on your network? Do you have any of the Hue Bridge integrations running on your Hubitat hub? If so, you may want to DISABLE (not remove) the integration on the Hubitat Hub, then power on the Hue bridge to see if both devices work independently of one another. This might help to identify the nature of the underlying issue.
i just changed the zigbee channel, and that it is now working again. Thanks for the help to all of you
The 2.4 Ghz band is getting pretty crowded these days. In addition to Wifi, you have Zigbee, and Thread. It makes troubleshooting interference issues that much more of a pain. Google Nest Hubs, Eero, Google Wifi, Smartthings, Philips Hue, etc... All have Zigbee/Thread radios that can contribute to interference. Adding to the issue, I don't know how to even change the channel settings on some of these devices.
