Hi - I see this issue reported, but did not find a fix for my issue. I connect over ethernet fine. I connect to wifi when the ethernet is plugged in, but when I power down and move Hubitat to another location I cannot access the UI. I see it on my router, but pings fail. LED is solid green.
It used to connect over wifi. I need to temporarily move it close to a specific button controller to pair it.
Please make sure that mobile device is connected to the same network as the hub. This sounds more like the hub is online, but your mobile device isn't seeing it.
I believe you need a separate DHCP reservation as well since the MAC address of the wireless interface is different than the MAC address of the wired interface.
Thanks for the tips. I am on a laptop on the same wi-fi network as Hubitat. I see the DHCP assigned an IP address to the wi-fi MAC address, but still cannot connect to the UI. Ports 8080 and 8081 are not responsive either.
I have tried different browsers, incognito mode, clearing cache and cookies, but no luck.
Can you PM me the hub id? I'll take a look at the engineering logs on the hub, maybe there are some clues there. Solid green should indicate a connection, but it's hard to say what's going on without looking at the logs.
For closure, I used a long ethernet cable to bring Hubitat close enough to the devices that needed a close proximity to program. Hopefully I won't need wifi any more!
