I have a couple of RGB LED controllers which automatically switch on when powered after a power loss.
Is there a trigger for the rule machine for when the hub starts and becomes ready? I want to create a rule which switches those controllers off after a power failure.
Are there any alternatives to rule machine to achieve this?
In Rule Machine select Location, then systemStart.
If you have your Hubitat running on naked power without a UPS system start option should work but if you have your Hubitat on a UPS then you need to be able to detect power restored. One cheep way is using a Zigbee bulb that turns on when line power is restored and detecting the light being on. I use a Sengled bulb for that in the basement. When that light turned on I knew their was a power fail in the house.
