My HSM config screens don't look like the documentation. No noncustom configuration screens . What have I done wrong

Door lock and thermostat
Believe it’s looking for devices that have capability sensor (contact and motion specifically) which lock and thermostat generally don’t support.
Such as door or window closed switch ?
A door or window contact switch should be found if included. Could add a virtual to test the theory if you like.
