Hubitat Package Manager Error

hi,

im tryin to install vacation lighting director, and I guess I need hubitat package manager first. What ever HubSecurity configuration i try (on/off) i still get this error:
An error occurred logging into the hub. Please verify your Hub Security username and password.

Sorry to hear you're receiving an error.
When exactly do you receive the error?

What I would try first is rebooting the hub and attempting the install again.
You can do this by clicking Settings -> Reboot.

After the hub comes back online, try the HPP install again.

I maintain HPM these days and I think, yes, everyone needs HPM.

You can follow the Install guide and I'll suggest that Import is the fastest/easiest. It's this very "install" (add code to the hub) that HPM makes so much easier. Follow the video if you'd like. (link at the bottom of the Install Guide page.)

As to the Security, you need to have HPM match the reality of your hub. The easiest way to think about what HPM does is to think that it just clicks the UI for you. If you have HubSecurity enabled, then you must tell HPM that you do and give it the id/pw so it can click through the pages just like you do. No hub security enabled? Then HPM needs it disabled too.
