Hubitat on NAS

Any plans to release Hubitat software on Docker or something that can run on powerful hardware?

Selling license to run it on docker can be another revenue stream without problems tied to hardware development.

If i gonna use hub connect, one hardware hubitat for zigbee one for zwave, my controller hubitat can run on synology docker providing more horsepower than hubitat hardware.

Been asked and discussed before. The answer is a firm no from other conversations.

Now it looks like it can be accomplished by this

.NET has huge developer base. It has chance that some people will look into.

I would still prefer hubitat software

That just allows you to control Hubitat from .NET, it won’t let you run it elsewhere

True, but I run my hub with no code or apps other than drivers. If you are looking to bake DevOps into your process and manage your automations within a container, this might work for your purposes.

My questions are about
speed, video example look little sluggish

Also, any UI?
If you have to write little program for every automation you ca use as well openHUB

Nope, no UI. :pensive:

I don’t know if it’s sluggish, but of course doing everything over a network is going to be slower than doing it locally on the device.
